TIME PASSENGERS

It can be evil or best friend.

It has no beginning and no end.

It is the ruler - we are the underling.

It has so much power - 

Wiping out dreams and hopes.

It is the eternal power that makes us obey.

We are slaves of it - with no escape.

We took it as a gift from above.

We cannot pay it with any money.

But we are allowed to treat it as a treasure,

... it is the time

That makes us feel under pressure.

Time is the grinder - we are the corn, 

Grinding our last dreams and hopes.

Time is the judge - we are the defendant, 

Pronouncing judgement on us.

Time is the universal giant -

we are the unsuspecting dwarf, 

Addressing our confinements. 

Time is the infinite journey - 

our invalid tickets are the messengers,

We were only time passengers.
