UWE DANEK

Hello and thank you for visiting this website. 

Uwe Danek was born in Saxony, Germany, in the early 1960s. His interest in the English language brought him to South West England in 1999. A degree (BA, Hons) in Modern Language Studies brought him to a road called Creative Writing. With the year 2009 his road had two main sign posts: Poetry and Novel Writing. His first novel Silke and the fall of the Berlin Wall came out in October 2019.

Uwe lives with his wife and a cat in the seaside town Torquay (Devon). His motto is revealed in five lines:

Writing is a craft.

Writing is creative.

Writing is rewarding.

Writing is challenging.

Writing is fun!
